Michele Belew

Michele has over 30 years of experience creating child and pet friendly environments.

In the early 90s, she attended an early childhood program.  After graduation, she owned and operated a Family Child Care Home in Northern Kentucky.  When the children in her care became school age and the families no longer needed her services, she decided to focus on her growing family.  Now, pets are her passion! She has completed PSI’s Certified Professional Pet Sitters program, Pet First Aid & CPCR training and continues to receive CEUs through PSI, personal reading and research and volunteer work.

Michele enjoys volunteering for the League for Animal Welfare.  Assisting the League’s volunteer dog photographer weekly is one of her favorite ways to help because she gets to meet the new adoptable dogs and puppies; they all have unique personalities and needs, and she enjoys spending time with them.  Fostering also brings her great joy and meeting other people with a love of cats and dogs is a bonus.  It’s truly a place where she thrives.
